Before you start any of the solutions below, we recommend backing up your iPhone if you haven't done so recently. None of the steps below should ever result in data loss, but it's always best to be on the safe side.

First, we'd like to walk you through how to clear your browser cookies and cache on your iPhone. Please follow this procedure:

Mobile Safari for iPhone OS (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad)

To clear cache and cookies:

1. From the home screen, tap Settings, and then tap Safari.

2. At the bottom of Safari's settings screen, tap Clear cookies and data, or Clear Cookies and Clear Cache. Confirm when prompted.

To clear history:

1. From the home screen, tap Safari.

2. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Bookmarks icon.

3. In the lower left, tap Clear.

4. Tap Clear History.

Once you do that, please stop any apps from running in the background. You can do that by follow these steps:

1. Tap the home button twice.

2. At the bottom of the screen you’ll see a row of app icons. These are the apps that are running. Slide your finger to move forward or backward through the apps. Chances are you’ll have more than the four that first show up.

3. Touch one of the app icons and hold your finger on it until they all start wiggling. A small red circle will appear at the top left of the icon.

4. Tap on the red circle and the app icon will disappear. The app is now no longer running in the background.

5. When you’re done shutting things down tap the home button and the apps will stop wiggling.

6. Tap the home button again to return to your home screen.

7. These steps will work even if you are currently using an app. In other words, you don’t have to be on the home screen to bring up the row of running apps.

Lastly, you can reboot your iphone by following these steps:

1. Begin by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the Home button at the bottom center of the face at the same time.

2. Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power-off slider appears. If it appears, just keep holding it.

3. Wait until the silver Apple logo appears.

4. When this happens, you can let go - the iPhone is rebooting.
